The New War: Hotfix #1

Changes:

• Added some helpful hints during a boss fight phase in The New War Quest.
• Updated muzzle FX and Alt Fire rotation for the Corinth Prime.
• Removed Harrow Prime and Venato from Conclave eligibility. 
• Players who purchased a Railjack but haven't installed their Reliquary Key are now eligible to play The New War Quests.
  • This fixes players who had yet to install the Reliquary Key being locked out of The New War until they did so.

Thanks to your diligent reporting we were able to escalate the noted warframe.com login issues for Switch players - sorry about that! It seems the error has stemmed from a few issues, one of them being an external Nintendo link that was updated but had not yet been changed on our website when users attempted to log-in. 

We will update here once it’s been fixed, we’re also adding some additional monitoring for this kind of situation, the broken link generated a 404 (Page not found) which is tracked separately from other log-in issues.

Update 10:24am - The log-in issue have since been fixed! Now we can go back to using that Paracesis Opal Skin to prepare of a certain War just on the horizon....

Prime Resurgence: Hotfix #1

Fixes:

• Fixed a softlock when trying to change Loadout Glyph. 
• Fixed livelock that could occur when fusing Operator Arcanes and using all of your remaining unranked in one operation.
• Fixed inability to roll while using Nyx’s Assimilate Augment on controller or a custom roll keybind. 
• Fixed Archwing Ascend and Aim being bound to the same button for controllers.

Sentient Core Standing + Blueprint Changes (NEW since the initial Dev Workshop)

In addition to the already noted changes to Amps and Ore/Gems, we’ve included an increase to Sentient Core Standing return and also modified the Exceptional Sentient Core Conversion Blueprint. Those starting out on their Quills journey should find this allows them to progress through the Syndicate faster to reach the higher tier Offerings.

Increased Standing return from Sentient Cores:

Nintendo Switch Remaster & Texture Compression Changes 

We have upgraded the texture compression settings to benefit from some major size reduction gains. After you download the remaster and update Warframe on Nintendo Switch will go from 25 GB to ~12 GB! Which means that Warframe will fall under the base memory allowance and can be downloaded without the need of an additional memory card (and no other games).

After the frame has been levelled fully and had one forma applied, yes! We're aiming to have this included with the Forma changes, currently the plan. Will affect Sorties, ESO, and Arbitrations.

When we first introduced Forma years ago, Warframe was a much smaller game. We had fewer weapons, fewer Warframes, and way fewer Mods. As players continue their Forma journey, there’s often discussions on doing a Quality of Life (QOL) pass to the way things work with our favourite Golden Puzzle Piece. If a Mastery Rank 30 player uses a Forma, they won’t have to re-unlock any Abilities (or their Ranks) on a given item! Ghoulsaw Butcher's Revelry Stance Changes:
The first-of-its-kind Assault Saw is in your hands. Ghoulsaw has been out for a little under a week, and with it, our latest Melee Stance: Butcher’s Revelry. We are buffing some Combos in this Stance. More power is coming for Tenno that are out there combo’ing like the best of them.

- Added guaranteed Slash status on second hit
- Increased damage multiplier from 2 to 3 of the third attack

NSW Update 30.7: Nidus Prime & Plague Star

Update 30.7: Nidus Prime & Plague Star is jam-packed with everything from PC Hotfix 30.5.1 to this Nidus Prime release and everything in between. Plague Star has returned and runs from Sept 8 at 2pm ET to Sept 30 at 2pm ET, Tenno!

The total download size for this update is ~ 1.1 GB. This maintains Warframe’s total size above the base memory allowance on Nintendo Switch. For the Tenno out there who have not equipped their Nintendo Switch with an SD card and have no other games downloaded, this means that having additional space installed on your Nintendo Switch is necessary to accept this update. You will need to have at least ~ 1.1 GB available on your device in order to begin the download.
